The exhibition of historical antiquities about imaginary and domestic animals of 10 ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) countries highlighted the signality and value of those animals in each culture to promote cultural awareness. For this, a unique illustration of 10 representative animals from each nation was developed. Also, the exhibition hall was designed to provide a special experience on every route. Meanwhile, those signature animals from each country became a learning card and exhibition guide as a name of ‘Card Docent’. At the participative zone, the audience created their own imaginary animal using the placed stamps of each part of the legendary animals, and it promoted creativity of visiting students and interest of participating audience.
ASEAN ( Association of South-East Asian Nations) 10개국이 중시하는 정신적 가치와 상징적 동물들을 재조명하고 다양한 문화예술적 유산에서 해당 동물을 발견하여, 상상 및 생활을 근거로 만들어져 온 아세안의 동물들과 전통문화를 이해하기 위한 전시였다. 이를 위하여 각국을 대표하는 다양한 상상 속 또는 생활 속의 동물들을 선정하여 유니크하고 친근감 있는 일러스트를 개발하고, 전시품 및 작품이 효과적으로 배치될 수 있는 동선을 구축하였다. 한편, 시그니처 동물들을 테마로 한 참여전시를 마련하여 관람객의 학습을 위한 도슨트 및 기념품이 되도록 하였고, 전설속의 동물들의 신체 부위 스탬프를 비치하여 나만의 신비로운 동물을 창조하는 활동이 독려되어 관람객의 흥미를 유도하였다.
